Why do you like the shovel so much? Thinking of getting one.
And @SilleeMee sounds like you got enough snow to shovel the other day vs up here in LIttleton, we had a dusting.
Won't be the case starting at midnight though.
I love that Snow Joe shovel! It's the design of it that makes it the best ever. The second handle on it makes all the difference in the world. So ergonomic and it makes it so much easier to maneuver and lift the snow. I spray my shovel with some silicone to help keep the snow from sticking so the snow just glides right off while tossing. You gotta get that shovel! You'll never go back to using a regular one.
Ok, great advice! Smart thinking with the Silicone spray, found prob at Home Depot?

And PS found an 18" one on Walmart for $39.97 but it's the other material I think you mentioned cracks?

I have a large double battery snow blower & decided to purchase a battery snow shovel for my porch, deck & walkway but it was awkward & did a lousy job so returned it I'm 75, live where there's lots of snow & it costs $75.00 a plow to hire someone just to do my driveway. Hope your happy with your purchase @sheetsheba

I've bought three of that version of Snow Joe shovels. The problem with that shovel is the metal edge on the bottom. It wears off really fast and then it doesn't work very good. I recommend the clear blue one. It has a more durable polycarbonate edge on it. Costs more but it's worth it.

Using plastic snow shovels doesn't mean you can use your foot to push the shovel into stubborn snow. It's plastic and it can crack. Don't use your foot on a plastic shovel at all. It's not made for that. Metal shovels yes, but not plastic ones.

Thanks everyone, really good comments! Where I live the company plows out the indrive and the home owner has to shovel the walk way. You can pay $200 for someone to shovel but it's not worth it in my opinion. We got 9.5 inches and I go out two or three times to make it easier. It's getting harder so that's why I bought the Snow Joe.
