We just bought this shovel.  It makes removing snow so much easier than regular snow shovels.  Wish we had found it years ago.

It costs over $100 for someone to remove snow off my driveway and walks. My driveway is a 25-foot long single wide and my walks are only about 50-feet long altogether. Unless there's a ton of snow, I won't call out for help.

And @SilleeMee sounds like you got enough snow to shovel the other day vs up here in LIttleton, we had a dusting.

Won't be the case starting at midnight though.

I love that Snow Joe shovel! It's the design of it that makes it the best ever. The second handle on it makes all the difference in the world. So ergonomic and it makes it so much easier to maneuver and lift the snow. I spray my shovel with some silicone to help keep the snow from sticking so the snow just glides right off while tossing. You gotta get that shovel! You'll never go back to using a regular one.

@sheetsheba if you're talking about clearing a driveway, don't bother with one. It would work on a walkway or path to the front door, or to a garage.

I find waiting until about noon for it to melt is the best solution of all.  It's so dry in Albuquerque that it just evaporates.  There's rarely more than 3 or 4".  I've never touched the snow shovel dad bequeathed me.

We got about 4 inches of wet snow last night into this morning.

We own two different types of snow plows/blowers.

The big heavy duty two stage one will remove wet heavy snow, but the smaller snow blower will not.  It only removes dry powdery snow.

I do not know how to operate the big blower.  It has many stages and levers and it is big and heavy.

My husband is away all week, so I had to shovel snow this morning with a shovel. My walkways were not bad, but the 35x24 ft driveway was a pill.  That snow was heavy.

Hopefully, it will warm up and melt away quickly and not turn to ice.

I don't think a Snow Joe would work for deep or wet snow.  It's just not strong enough.

I don't have a problem using my Snow Joe with heavy wet snow. I go slowly. When or if it clogs I stop and allow it to clear itself before going on. 

Sure it takes a little longer, but not as long as shoveling.
