@songbird Snakes are my most feared creature.  Our newspaper this week had a picture of a man that has killed a rattler with 17 buttons that is over 6 feet long.  My neighbor killed a copperhead on her patio last week.  The water moccassins are also on the prowl as the weather heats up, the joys of summer living in Mississippi.

@Boomernichols  Water snakes are almost always poisonous.  That's one fear of meeting one in the water.  

 

I don't mind the Racer because I know he's harmless.

Generally, the warmer the climate, the more apt they will be snakes.  The one country with the most dangerous snakes is India.  Many people are maimed each year by being bitten.
