I’ve experienced difficulty “hearting” posts and checking my notifications.

But...the thing that drives me really crazy is the length of time it takes to add photos to posts. I have a fast home network so it’s not me. It’s the poor tech system at the Q. Very, very, very slow. Sometimes, it times me out before the photo posts, and I have to start over. Grr.

Yep, the delay in photo posting is frustrating...but I wonder if their system scans them for viruses or malware before it gets posted....

@wilma  This too has been a problem for a while and is part of the reason I don't post more picture in the Home forum.

I thought it was the recent Windows 10 update that created the wackiness, but then I accessed other websites without any issues and discovered its just QVC again....Its just something I come to expect and just workaround..... but it is frustrating....

I think QVC is more focused on improving  their QVC phone APP for orders and this Forum takes a backseat.....  But at least Im glad QVC still has the Forums so I try to look on the bright side and the fact, that I still get to converse with folks I enjoy chatting with....

As several have already mentioned the inactivity is due to the fact that people are just tired of all the virus and gloom and doom threads....And you have to watch who and what you talk about too...Some people are even responding to old threads that involve more interesting topics......

@Spurt  Unfortunately, sometimes they're then chastised and poofed for bringing up old threads, which makes no sense if they're still there to be pulled up... Meanwhile, at the moment, the first six threads on Community Chat are all more of the virus and the very doom and gloom threads you mention, but apparently that's acceptable, you know, until it's not...

@Spurt  No idea, but this is relatively recent. It wasn't always as painfully slow as it is now... It might have taken a minute or so, but now you could read a chapter while waiting for pictures to load so you can post them...

@jubilant, the only problem I've noticed is that seeing my notifications is iffy. I usually have to click several times. Other than that, though, I'm not noticing any problems, other than the same-old, same-old griping about -- everything. :-)

@jubilant  There are a handful of other problems on the site but hardly worth mentioning and sadly, not going anywhere anytime soon...

Agree about the hearts.

They don't show up, and then I try again and instantly a heart appears but because I clicked again I have now removed said heart.  I hope that makes sense.

By hearts I mean hearting posts.

My nic at the top next to notifications was doubled for a bit.  I thought I needed new glasses.  LOL

I have no touble signing in or posting, though.

Well, I think I've been here quite awhile and there always seems to be one computer issue or another. Maybe CS, they're working with less people to be able to distance. I'm not sure what excuse they'd use before this.

@suzyQ3   I'm glad you posted because I am still wondering if it's my computer?  My "waiting" so long between clicks is really, for the most part, the only problem I have and that has been going on for months. No one, so far, has told me they have this exact problem. Even the notification problem has never been a problem for me until the last couple of days or so. Honestly, it's not really all the other stuff that's bothering me.

As far as the complaining goes......I can overlook or by-pass that  or choose to join  the discussion or not.  It is my choice if I choose to listen. Some days I do....some days I don't.  I can't offer a lot of help because to talk about where my help comes from would go poof because it has to do with my beliefs.....But....I can pray for those who seem exceptionally stressed.
