Has anyone else had bad luck with these diffusers?  I've tried these a couple of scents but they are weak smelling and definitely do not last as long as he says.

They are a mixed bag with me. I had one that was so strong I had to put it out on the porch and then two others that had practically no scent at all. Strange.

I've had mixed results as well.  From no scent at all (twice), to wonderful room filling scent.

Re: Slatkin Reed Diffusers

[ Edited ]

I'm done taking a chance on Slatkin. Used to love his candles...like 10-12 yrs ago.

Bought some Christmas "scented" ones last year and returned them. I use a candle melting lamp (don't burn them)...melted it once, could barely smell anything, and only when on top of it. Then...absolutely nothing. It's not the melting lamp...all my other candles work fine, for a lot less $$.

Slatkin candles have doubled in pricing and really gone down in quality, in my experience. I had old ones from Christmas past, some boxed up and not used until recently, were still strong, lasted after many uses. And, personally....I am soooo tired of his lonnnnnng, drawwwwwn out "romancing" stories about his world travels and the fragrances...it's overkill. I tune him out now.

I love the smell of his reed diffusers, but I smell them only when sitting or standing right next to them.

The items for the car were even less impressive. I hooked them on to my steering wheel. I smelled the gingerbread aroma only twice-- and I am the only person who drives my car. I now am done purchasing Slatkin products. I cannot purchase his candles because I have pets and do not trust them around candles. I consider my "no purchase" policy a commitment to saving money.

Absolutely, yes!  The ones I ordered didn't even have a scent.  Very disappointing, and will not order these anymore.

I agree, I too have never had success with his reed diffusers. I have a few I've yet to open. If it weren't for the fact they are in a two piece set with a candle, which I will use, I would donate them.

Oh, and disposing is a messy concern. Pop into ziplock bag and hope it doesn't leak.

I've had no luck with any of his scents, no matter the method of delivery.

Reed diffusers of any brand are never as strong a fragrance IMO. I always prefer lighting a candle.

His reed diffusers are a waste of money, his car fresheners have no scent, and his candles are fair at best. No way do I believe the "junk" he is selling me is what his rich friends are receiving. His arrogance is sickening and his carrying on about his low prices is ridiculous since his products are not quality.
