I don't think NEW when I shop here. I think if someone likes a particular clothing line, they shop becasue a new item might come from that designer.

I shop mostly for beauty lines that I'm familiar with (TSV).

I also bought my TSV Vitamix earlier this year - because it was the best price compared to where I have looked.

I have too and I completely get what the OP is saying. The defenders of Q can suggest all they like that there's nothing new under the sun, but there IS more to shopping than this. Looking forward over the schedule for the entire next month I continue to be underwhelmed with the variety offered here, so I'll continue not watching...  Just a taste of what's in store: Dyson (for several days), Nutrisystem, Serta, Vionics, Graver (always), It, Lazy Boy, pressure cookers, and the beginning of the gardening shows... It's like clockwork...

I understand what you are saying.I find that when I watch too much and see the same things over and over it us like looking in my own closet or cupboard and feeling tired of everything.

I figured that after the Christmas shopping frenzy was over with all those same products, I though we might be able to see some new products. I should have known better. Oh well, I got a few gift cards and some cash. Will hit a few stores tomorrow. There are a lot of good deals out there.

Hi. I understand how you feel in a way.

I remember how much I loved when QVC did the 50/50 tour and brought innovative and new products that we wouldn't have seen otherwise to the channel.

Perhaps it wasn't lucrative enough for them to do it again and afterall it is a business.

I sure miss that type of programming.

Now they seem focused on electronics.

TY mtc! Yes we are fine...I really feel for those who had loss of life and their families. I do have family in the area and they are fine.

I am wondering if ONE of the reasons Q seems like it doesn't offer as many new and exciting things as it once did, is because back in the day before the internet (or when it was in it's infancy and many of us didn't have computers) our choices were much more limited than what we are used to seeing today.

We weren't able to just go online and choose from thousands and thousands of businesses in any given shopping category. What most of us saw was what was in our local stores and on QVC. So even the most meager in new offerings was exciting, based solely on the fact that the number of choices out there were so much more limited.

I agree that I don't see enough new or original or different and exciting things on Q like it seems I used to.  And I don't think the powers that be at Q are listening to us wanting more. They have the huge and varied inventory in stock, they just don't put it on air, and that in my opinon, is a big mistake.
