Ah...so Ohio booted him and now we are the lucky state to have him.

I think she's just looking to argue. Since the dirtball committed his crimes in Ohio, served his time in Ohio, apparently would have been on some kind of probation/parole in Ohio, how did he get to leave the state??? Did Ohio drop the ball??

And keep in mind that the registry in Texas must have comparable elements for registering peds from other states.

I think I'm done with this. I cringe that this person was playing Santa, but it still stands that a background check would have prevented this from happening.

Sounds like some mall or store is short on lawsuits and is just begging for one. Here, they don't even let s*x offenders turn on their outside lights on Halloween.

Please tell me this isn't true. That is against the law isn't it? Don't they have to stay far away from all children?

I am pretty sure that is the law.

Okay - Texas, Ohio, whatever. However, now that McDonald's knows the guy's past, why would they not let him go? Seems to me crimes against children in the past is a good enough reason but my guess is - - lets face it - - all that really has to happen is people picket in front the McDs and they lose business and all of a sudden this guy's rights become secondary or out the window cuz when it's about money, money talks and he'd be gone in a heartbeat.
