The ONLY opinion that matters, is that of the wearer.

I think this is a personal decision, as to what you like and what the meaning of the tattoo is to you.

My own decision is no tattoo; I am simply not a fan of body art. I know my Dad regretted his tattoo, which was done during his military service.  I am thankful my husband has no tattoos.

This is only your decison to make.  But one thing in your post made me wonder.  You dont want it to show?  You do understand it will be seen many times over as you age.  You will be seeing doctors and care at various times of your live and of course the tat will be seen and judged many times over.  You need to go into it with the attitude that it is what you want ..live with it...show it and be proud, or why have one???

"Guys hate when girls do this, really do you need this?"  Really!!! It's a personal thing whether anyone likes or doesn't like tattos and not a guy thing!!  And I would not get a tattoo thinking that guys don't like them - who cares!!!  My life does't revolve around what "guys" like!!

Sorry it's not what you wanted to hear, but my opinion is that they are not attractive. To each his own.

@Daisy Sunflower  You are entitled to your opinion, but you don't have to get ugly and demean others in the way you express that opinion.

It doesn't matter what I think ..it's what you think about your body.

My future DIL is a wonderful tattoo artist, in fact, while we were vacationing in Disneyworld people were coming up to her to inquire about her tattoos and my sons (yikes, just me but they have them on their entire body🙈😉). In fact, she's booked 3 months in advance - amazing.

My 3 friends just had the cutest little ones put on ankles, wrists. ME I'm chicken...although they've been bugging me to get a little flamingo on my ankle are w/GD name.

Its really a matter of how you feel about it - just go for it if you want one just make sure you go to repeatable, licensed shop.

I got my first tatt on my 40th birthday.

It was a present to myself, for myself.

I took a whole year to really think long and hard of the pros and cons of getting a tattoo.

I have no regrets.
