Shopping Local for Christmas...

Hey Q shoppers..

Been thinking of this myself this year...Support your local economy, struggling small retailers...at usually what is THE time of year for them to make money...means a lot these days to many...and good for your community.

Like many of you, I shop Q, and they've "saved" me more this time of year than the rest of the year, (I'd started to dread Christmas shopping and always disliked malls), love those Q boxes coming to my door, still do...but..that said...

Before Q the only places I liked shopping for Christmas was in small town retailers, boutiques and gift shops...usually surrounded with local restaurants and coffee bars, local Christmas atmosphere....and I'm just suggesting we at least do a little of this this year, in an economy that needs it. Usually more artisnal, unique gifts too.

And food...with their $11 extra bucks to ship...just consider some of your local pastry, bake shops for desserts (hey, I've bought Balboa and Juniors before, but last year we treated ourselves to our old Italian bakery we used to frequent years ago, buying many of our traditional favorites...loved it.)

And before Q techs go poofing this...there is room for all....we ARE still getting lobster tails off Q for Christmas eve...

Just a thought I want to put out there...just check out some local shops and buy a few things there!
