Everything old is new again!  Yes, they've had so many names, I've lost track!

Actually first it was CVN.  They were bought out by QVC and many of the CVN hosts ended up there. But a few hosts and managers at CVN joined together and formed ValueVision.  Amazing jewelry in those days.

I have to agree, the jewelry on VV and Shop NBC was unsurpassed by anyone, I was amazed by the quality and the vendors they offered back then.

@queen75   Thanks for the link!  I finally got a chance to read all of it.  Very interesting.  Obviously, so many name changes in a relatively short time is not a good sign of health.

I read months ago that they were undergoing management changes and the name would be changed. I remember all of the above mentioned names because this is where I made my very first online purchase of a computer. Back then the quality was good and the prices were better than other shopping networks. I hope they can successfully rebrand!

@2blonde  for me that will never happen ...but I can see where some may assume that, because of the name, they are the same company...I had to stop watching Shop LC because of all of the offerings.

@GAQShopr53   I watch ShopLC a lot because I'm a gem lover, but sometimes all the yelling and hard sell gets to be too much for me!

No matter what their name is I still prefer them to HSN and QVC. This past Christmas I bought my girl's jewelry gifts from Evine.

@2blonde I agree that it can be a little over the top. I usually don't purchase from the auctions and wait until they are over so I can see if I can get the online discounts. I can't stand when they say the clock has only 2 minutes and then they start to stall LOL...that's when I knew it's time to call it quites for the day.

They have some great gems/jewelry! That's another reason I don't purchase jewelry from Evine that much..shipping costs was another big difference!
