I am not sure who will see this as I am new to this forum.  I just have to share my story.  I have been a loyal customer of QVC at the age of 21 - I am now 56 with a family.  I had to return a pair of crop pants and a shirt.  The crop pants didn't fit and I wasn't at all crazy about the material.  The shirt was tight around my shoulders.  If I went up a size it would be too baggy and long. I did a live chat with a CSR regarding my returns.  I did the easy pay option on both items.  Both my refunds were 3.50 less than what I was supposed to get.  I was under the impression that when you choose the easy pay plan, the s/h of 3.50 is included in that easy pay amount. Well I guess not.  For both, they deducted the 3.50 x 2 = 7.00 plus the prepaid s/h to send back of 6.95 x 2 = 13.90 for a grand total of $20.90.  I am angry.  It cost me $20.90 in total to return (for a crop pant and shirt), not to mention back and forth to the Post Office, and we all know how expensive gas is now.  I'm at a loss for words.  Unfortunately, I do not see myself shopping on this network anymore.  I just cannot afford to throw money away - QVC needs to re-evaluate their shipping fees.  I am sure I am not the only one that feels this way. Please let me hear from you.

Thank you

You have to pay both the shipping fee to you and the return cost on all items.  The only exception is if the item is damaged, defective, or QVC error.

When you choose easy pay, the shipping fee and tax (if any) are divided equally amongst each payment.

@SC going broke - Did you return both items in the same package?  If you did, you should at least only be charged one return fee of $6.95.

Another way to save return postage is to use PayPal.  You can claim back return postage for up to 12 returns per year.

I know that doesn't help now, but it might for the future.  I agree - the cost of "trying" something on has also stopped me buying things from the Q unless I'm absolutely certain of my size in a particular brand.

You used to get the original S&H back, but they stopped that many years ago.  I either wait for a free shipping day or shop less.

@SC going broke Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry you are so angry about this. I do understand how upsetting it is when you think you should receive more than you did. I too have been a long time customer, since 1986. This is the same policy they have always had. Unlike some other online retailers, S&H + tax is divided among the easy payments. This means you still have to ultimately pay shipping, and it could be more than one easy payment you made. If I do return more than one item I will put the items in one box or envelope and pay shipping myself. This use to be cheaper but now I check first and go the least expensive route. I rarely have to return anything as my rule of thumb is not to order until several reviews are posted and check garment measurements as well as research an item thoroughly before buying. In addition I try to make most purchases on Free Shipping days.

The great thing about QVC's return policy is you can wear an item or use an appliance, try make-up, eat the food, etc. and return if it doesn't work out. Most retailers require items returned in new condition.

@SC going broke - Check it out on their website and add PayPal to your QVC methods of payment.  (If you still want to shop with them!)

You do have to wait until the refund is processed and supply copies (online) of your invoice and refund documents, but it's been worth it to me several times.  Might be frustrating the first time, but once you've figured it out, it's easier.

ETA:  It is only the return postage PayPal refunds (not the original shipping).  But every little bit helps, IMO.

Thank you for reaching out.  I usually order from the same designer brand. They usually stay true to size. The hosts are not explaining what they need to explain.  They are too busy talking to the designer, or their weekend plans, or what they have bought.

I bought the same 2 pairs of crop pants (different color) from Belle.  One of the pants were longer than the other and the one that was shorter in length, the left side was shorter than the right side. It was too late to return because I had passed the 30 day period.  I'm stuck with one crop pant that is too long and the other, the hem line is longer than the other.

The quality has gone down but the prices keep going up.

I had no idea abt paying S&H from and to returns!

I had no idea abt Paypal either.  THANK YOU all for your info,

...& for the thread originator!..

..........  and WELCOME to the Q Forum!

I've shopped at the Q for many, many years past, but a *vast collective amt of QVC disappointments,* (oftentimes with QVC's "IT DEPT") ...  my Q purchases are much, much more reduced.  Amz, and revisiting HSN for purchases has significantly more of my business, & far far less headaches & problems  (but not so much "fitted clothes" at any of them)..

Thank you.  I have been going to JC Penny, Nordstrom's (discount rack lol), Amazon to name a few.  Now that the stock of their clothing are back in, since covid, I can now try and return for free.  As for Amazon, I love their return policy as well.  Honestely, I love some of the QVC's designers, but its a gamble, and at these s/h prices, I don't want to chance it.  I never use to shop on HSN, but I have been and have been very satisfied.

I just wish that the hosts (not all of them) would be more informative on the sizing, i.e. inseam, runs small or large, or when they are presenting shoes, the same goes as well. Its really getting to expensive to buy and try.

Kohl's has a six-month return policy, even if you've washed and/or worn an item.  If it's defective (e.g. it shrunk in the wash or faded, seams came apart, etc.), you can still return it and, if you used your Kohl's card, you don't even need your receipt.  They can look it up in their system.

If you removed the tags to try it on and it doesn't fit, you can still return it.

I even returned an electric kettle that started to act up after a couple of months.  Took it back and got a full refund; no hassle.  (I do keep my receipts so that makes it easier.)
