There are so many free shipping deals out there.

Shipping stops me from buying sometimes.

With Christmas about a week away, I'd be more worried about receiving my item.

Sometimes the item you want is ONLY available at a specialty store like Cafe Press, maybe it was the only place she could find the apron she wanted. Then you just have to decide if it is worth it. If it is the perfect item I'm looking for, I'll go for it, and just figure it's the cost of the gift. But, often, the early shopper gets the best shipping worm.

Thanks for all your input.  It's a family friend who just got pregnant and she really wanted this special item.  In the schmeme of things It's really nothing.  No more complaining.  So happy she's pregnant!

THANK YOU AGAIN!

I agree! This is why I have Amazon Prime. I don't order a lot but I've ordered a few things for my husband for Christmas that would have cost a fortune in shipping so it's paid for itself a couple of times over. Also, my local supermarket carries My Grandma's coffee cakes so I buy them there for myself. But I buy them from QVC to ship,to,family for holidays since it costs less for them to ship it.
