I've complained several times to UPS about late deliveries.  It falls on deaf ears.

Us too, any chance you live in Brooklyn, NYC?

Boy, OP, you wouldn’t like living where I live.

We didn’t get our mail delivery till almost 7 last night.

During November and December, we sometimes don’t get our mail until 10 and sometimes it’s come as late as 10:30 at night and UPS has delivered till 9 or later.

They’re working such long days because consumers are shopping online more and more. I’m just thankful that they come, regardless of the time.

Packages in trucks are going to be hot. It’s hot outside. In the winter, they’ll be cold as it will be cold outside.

To say “unacceptable” just sounds so...so...  well, I’ll leave it right there.

@IMW- I live in Atlanta, in the suburbs. I wasn’t trying to be rude to the OP, but seriously, wouldn’t we ALL like our mail and UPS deliveries by 6 PM?  It’s just not feasible.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

UPS has to keep delivering packages until their truck is empty...whatever time that may be. Maybe the driver was stuck in traffic or on the highway behind an accident. To say you would prefer your packages delivered by 6pm - well wouldn't we all like to be the first house on the delivery route? It just isn't possible. I think online shopping may not be for you.

If UPS has to deliver packages at night, that tells me they need to hire more people and buy more trucks to keep up with the growing demand in shipping. Someone else may not mind getting woken up to answer the door when they have to be up in 6 hours for work, but I do mind. And then I'm up for a while after that. What's acceptable to one person doesn't necessarily work for another person, and 10:00 pm for a delivery is too late for me. I've seen photos posted of crumpled, torn, dirty packages that people were upset about, and they look similar to the ones we get in our neighborhood and roll our eyes at. We don't even answer our doors during the day here in our quaint city, so IMO UPS needs to step up to the plate and invest in additional employees and vehicles.

This isn't UPS, but my son occassionally works to deliver packages in his own car from Amazon (we have a facility here in my city).  They must be short of deliverers, or maybe it is the new norm.

I just feel lucky to my orders delivered at all...let alone at a certain time!

I wish I got my QVC  items via UPS rather than USPS.  Then they arrive in two days!   I don't care what time they'd come, I'd much rather have UPS than USPS deliver my packages.
