Wait a few months and the D&C outfits will wash up on shore. If you see your color or print on a beach goer, you may have grounds to strip them then and there with your QVC order summary.

My mom has  rarely left the house since COVID started. She gets everything delivered. Her last couple of grocery orders were over half shorted so she asked me to take her to the store.  She said hearing and reading about the store shelves did not prepare her for actually seeing them in person. It is only going to get worse.

I think it was on here a few weeks ago someone said the employees at Hobby Lobby were frustrated with how much moldy stuff they were getting in from all the stuff sitting in the containers for so long.

Rough seas knock 40 shipping containers off cargo ship near Strait of Juan de Fuca

SEATTLE — Dozens of shipping containers are floating adrift off the Washington coast after getting tossed from a cargo ship into rough waters Friday.

Forty containers were lost off an inbound ship about 43 miles west of the Strait of Juan de Fuca entrance, according to the US Coast Guard Pacific Northwest.

The incident happened when the ship listed to its side due to rough seas.

It was reported to the Coast Guard about midnight. When the Coast Guard flew over the scene about 10 a.m., it found eight containers in the water. As of Friday evening, 35 containers have been observed floating north.

The vessel was en route to Canada and is now in Vancouver, British Columbia, according to the Coast Guard.

The Canadian Coast Guard says it is working with the USCG to monitor the situation, and it is assessing whether there is any risk of pollution or other hazards from the containers.

Warnings have been issued for ships travelling through the entrance to the Juan de Fuca Strait after several shipping containers, some of which are pictured here, fell off a ship and are now floating in the ocean. (United States Coast Guard/Twitter)

Both coast guards have sent broadcasts to ships that may be in the area.

The Zim Kingston, bound for Vancouver, has been safely anchored near Victoria.

The last time several containers fell off a ship near B.C., was in November 2016, when 35 empty containers fell off the side of a cargo ship. Some debris washed up on beaches near Tofino several days later.

The Canada Coast Guard says some of the containers will sink..

Hey @Kachina624...   Do ya think I should drive over to Long Beach and get a job as a longshoreman?    It would be extra Christmas money......    di

Sounds like more sky-rocketing prices to me! And maybe no Christmas gifts...

@Desertdi    No, I think you should go for CEO.  Surely anything you could do would be an improvement over what's being done.
