I remember very well. Spent 33 years working in manufacturing plants. Chances for workers in manufacturing to spend that many years today? Bleak/never gonna happen.

 

I agree with your assessment of "maybe they should try"!  Bess leave it at that, but as a twice high school dropout, I am well versed ii where to start changing the status quo. Why do others seem to not get it? Many of us know that answer.
