This is a common practice with online retailers and is not QVCs fault. Once the label is put onto the package, it is considered shipped.   They create the labels and then it is up to UPS to scan each box.  If UPS misses a package it will continue to say label created.  I've received packages that have still tracked as "label created" --its all up to UPS.

They got ya! Amazon deals with UPS/ USPS/FedX, and Amazon for delivery. "Slap a label on it and it's not their fault"? If you actually believe that!

This may be a practice with "all" retailers but my experience is, with the exception of QVC, my items have shipped and arrive within 4-5 days of ordering.  I am still waiting for a QVC order placed on 6/6 that shipped from New Jersey - 3 hours away.  (The same city many of my Amazon orders ship from.)  Lots of theories but QVC shipping procedures seem to be terrible. I could have purchased this item elsewhere for more $$ so I went with Q.  Price is the deciding factor for me and so I live with the extra shipping time when necessary.
