I noticed last night that Shawn wore all white.... there was a thread on Monday after the show she did talking about her terrible black Halloween outfit.... she must have got wind of the remarks and decided to lighten things up.
The white dress was very nice....simple and mainstream.

Maybe she still feels like a teenager and doesn't see herself as we do, a mature woman. Maybe that's why she talks so goofy and makes up words...it reminds me of a high schooler ??

@Gemspirit wrote:Oh NO! I couldn't have heard it right? Could I have? Does SK really think she looks 15 years old without make up? Did she say that? Not as aa joke or a dig to the company? Not a mistake. She intended that statement? OK~changing channel right now!
AND SO WHY DID YOU?

15 year olds don't even look 15 years' old.

She probably meant she looks like a kid. I don't think she meant her skin looks 15.

@songbird@You've got it right!
A quick Google search can solve almost any debate...the woman will be 45 this year. Whomever said "don't pounce"??? REALLY! Are you also 45 going on 15???
i just turned 56 and am proud as could be...I'm here! Before I got very ill (life & death ill), I did look a good 10-15 years younger. That's thanks to my moms English genes, lots of water, good skin care and staying out of the sun. Now, after 15 years of a degenerative illness, multiple surgeries, and intractable pain~not so much.
Even still, I still have great skin. Just horrid dark circles. A couple of very fine lines here and there. But he// I earned them!
With the stories of my life, the birth of my children, my son having open heart surgery...we all have our own life story. I have no qualms stating my age, stopped colouring my hair 3 years ago and it looks better with a bit of grey and my natural blonde-light brown hair. It is SO freeing and so surprising how much better I feel and look regarding my age.
I dont wear much make up. And feel better for it. IMHO~SK ages he rself from 45 to about 50 with the heavy make up. And she wasn't kidding...she meant it.
Jill B. Is about the same age, wears very little make up and looks awesome.
I have a lot compassion for Shawns fertility problems. But, families are made in more ways than biology. My dream was to have 2 biological children and 2 adopted. And they would've been from The Phillipines or Nicaragua because I volunteered in both countries for years. Unfortunately, I'm now and have been 100% disabled for years. So instead we found two families that we sponsor in a very intimate way. Not just sending money to a charity.
SK needs to act her age and be professional. She's not at girls night out where it's ok to act silly...she's representing a big company and makes a fool of herself and in turn the company!

I totally agree with everything you said. However, Shawn has a large following and if her acting like it's a girl's night out is making money then it will continue. QVC is all about money and if Shawn's selling style isn't working they will tell her, no matter how many posts there are about it.

I think most of these products sell themselves; we tend to sometimes give the hosts more credit than they deserve when it comes to selling. I've never made a decision to buy based on what a host says.
Hope this didn't derail the thread too much.
