@Goodie2shoes -  I understand what you're saying and I never thought you were jealous by any means.

I'm tired of the constant talk about her travel plans.  She does this with every upcoming trip.  She's like Jane T. talking about family nonsense.  Overkill.

Well I would rather hear about someone's travels than about the kids and the grandkids, LOL!   We all have friends like that don't we?   I have a high school friend I love dearly and I just tolerate the constant chatter about the family.........I have my own adult kids (no grandkids) and don't talk about them half as much, not that I am not proud of them but I just don't feel the need to "brag" about them.   I feel the same about my travels, I talk about it when asked about it.

  Guess, she has no new ideas for her show so people feel the need to  buy new items   for  short get aways and vacations .   Don't know as to why  all these shows have to be based on a Host's Life style.  Is this the new reality  TV

I totally missed the show.  Is she going with only her husband or is Jagger going along?  I thought she talks about her ill mother who lives with her - she must have a live in caregiver while she goes on these trips.

@Goodie2shoes   I did not take your post as being jealous at all.  

There's a cool, fun mention, and then there's Shawn = overkill.  Shawn has mentioned her trip to Europe so many times in the past three weeks, it's more than tiring.  

She does it every time she goes on vacation, but she triples the mentions when it's Europe.  Many of us have been to Europe multiple times.  It's not about being jealous, it's just numbing.

I don't like traveling anymore. I feel like I've been traveling most of my life to far corners and beyond!

I would like to be some places but just want to be "beemed up" and over to favorite places or places I always wanted to see.

And I do think there is a difference between bragging and  sharing.

Oh did you ask to see pictures of my granddogs?! or animal friends?!

I do think it's nice to share stories and pictures of children and grands with family or people who know them.

She gets paid to TALK. If you talk about things in your personal life it's an attempt at connecting to your audience. Pure and simple. SHE'S A SALESPERSON and judging by how often she's on set does a good job for the company. The end
