Congratulations to the Italian player who won her match.

ITA....unfortunately it's the poster's MO for ALL threads..not just this subject.  Yawn.

ETA:   I was referring to only one poster, but now that it has been brought to my attention, it appears to be more than one.

Yes, congrats to the Italian player!  This could be the next generation!

Re: Serena v Venus @ the Open

If you are referring to me because I said I do not like Serena I do not think that is a cause for calling me immature.    I think she is a great tennis player but do not find her likeable as a person.   If that makes me immature well so be it.   I am personally tired of hearing people called "haters" because they have a difference of opinon on a person or subject.    I stand by what I said earlier.   If in fact you watched  the final today with the Italian girls... well enough said.  Talk about class!!

Hello, ladies. Smiley Happy

Congratulations to the tennis winner.

As for the Venus vs. Serena thing, this sort of thing has happened before. I forget who won, but I'm pretty sure they still love each other and are sisters first and foremost.

@sidsmom

Funny that you should mention that. I was referring to only one poster as well, and I have to admit that is does appear to be that particular posters MO for all threads.

Watched the match again this afternoon between Vinci and Williams. Even with Serena's grunting, screaming, and juvenile behavior and antics, she was still unable to distract Vinci. Vinci is such a classy, humble woman, and a GREAT role model, unlike her opponent. Her interview after the match was GREAT. One of the GREATEST upsets ever! Bravo to Vinci!
