Way back when, I bought a few things from Schwan mainly to have around the house for DD and her friends when she had a sleep over.  I haven't thought of Schwan in what seems like forever.

I came across this article this morning, and for those of you who like their products, might want to stock up.

I was not aware they had changed names!

I never bought from them but do remember the trucks.  Should not have changed their name.

I read about this a couple of days ago.  I never ordered but had eaten a few items over the years that came from them.  From what I understand (and remember tasting), everything was very good and great quality but the items were still more than what I was willing to pay.

Years ago, I'd see the Schwan's trucks all the time but haven't seem them, and now Yelloh, for several years.

I used to order from them many years ago mostly for quick meals for lunch at work. As I recall they were good. I quit ordering from them because the prices got to be more than I wanted to pay.

Oh, that's too bad. Seems like the quality and selection of their food went downhill after they were purchased by that Korean food distributor and the name changed to "Yello." (What were they thinking?) Many items were specially-packaged and branded versions of identical items I could find in my grocery store--for 30 percent less in price.

I still like ordering ice-cream from them. It's still good-quality, plus it arrives frozen. I'll miss ordering from Schwann's/Yello.

Many, many moons ago I worked with a lady that ordered from Schwan because it was convienent, good and she had a major crush on the Schwan truck driver.

When we first moved into this house our local friends kept talking about the Schwan's Man.  He ran a route that was every other week and included my subdivision. We'd have to watch for him and flag him down.  That was a rigmarole.  I tried a few things. I never had any complaints about the food taste or quality but I found it expensive for our budget at the time.  I felt the same way about Market Day that was run through one of the schools.  I ordered a few times and that was it.

Schwans was an excellent company. We had about a dozen core items that we loved. Delivery was good, and if we weren't home, the driver would put our food in the garage freezer. Prices were somewhat high, but nothing like QVC's food prices. Things really declined when the family business was sold, and renamed Yelloh. I'm expecting one final delivery before they close up shop in November.

I used Schwan's during the pandemic.  Some items were good; others not.  Our driver was annoyingly persistent in getting me to add items to our delivery.

When I decided to order grocery store delivery I gave up on Yelloh.
