Here in CT school starts at the very end of August and ends around the second week of June.

Seems like we have this conversation every year. It varies depending on where you live. Southern states tend to start in August and end in May. In the north, schools generally start in September and end in June. My niece started the Wednesday after Labor Day and next Thursday is the last day of school. High school graduations are usually in early June.

This year school ends on June 20th. starts the Wed after Labor Day.

i don't go anywhere now between 2:30 and 5:00 or risk getting stuck behind a school bus.

they stop at practically every kid's house. the kids exit the bus. then a bus monitor jumps out, looks under the front of the bus, runs around and looks under the back of the bus, then runs and looks under the front again.

New York State here, last day of school is June 23 and first day is Sept. 7.

This was teacher daughters first year at this school. She started working the last week of July, had a break after the first 9 weeks, week off at Thanksgiving, 2 weeks off at Christmas, a week in March, a week at Easter, school ended on Friday before Memorial Day. Summer school is from June 5th to 29th. My daughter will then be off until about August 1st.
