Wow, heavy rain, thunder and lightening!

The upside is all that rain.

The downside is this is not something to drive around in, and I had an appointment I'd waited a long time to get.

This might be the storm headed south to us on the central coast!!! I am excited for all of it...

I love storms, too, and yes, the CBS crawl said this storm will last another 2 to 3 hours and then will be heading south.

The news also just reported there were two lightning strikes in the Marina district of SF.

Yes, I know to turn the computer off, I did, but it seems the thunder/lightning has moved elsewhere, so I assume it's safe now.

I didn't know it was dangerous to have a computer on during lightning strikes.....interesting. We don't get much lightning down here...just quakes.

I guess the Pineapple Express is still running. I just wish it would pull out of our station one last time and stay gone until next Fall or Winter! We've had a lot of flooding and roads washed out, brown water ruff off, etc. etc.

And of course the thunder is the worst part of it for me because of the old senior outside dogs who live in my yard that are so terrified. It's pouring here still and again with chance of thunder later this afternoon - same as yesterday.

Must be why we expect rain in the next couple of days. It's nice and cloudy today (yay) but no rain here yet.

I've heard that warning for years. I'll have to check online, see if anyone has been hurt.
