What a blessed cat to have you two as family.  My deepest sympathy to both of you.

Losing a best friend is very painful. I never had a cat, but I had a little dog who passed. I immediately got another little lhasa apso - and the pain lessened - and now my little lhasa is my best friend. I always say, "at least they had a great life." John, Take Care. Sandy, Oxnard, CA

@hckynut Gosh,John this has been a tough month for you and Cindy. I'm so sorry for your loss. Kitties are so precious and I've been there many times over the past 35+ years with my own. My deepest sympathy to you both.

@hckynut - I'm so sorry for your loss. As others have said, you've been through a lot. But to know you give love to kitties who wouldn't have it any other way - the two of you are very special people. Your kitty knew she was loved  - that is what's important.

@hckynutI am so sorry to hear of your loss......and so soon after losing your last one.  We have them because we love them so much in life, but at the end, it seems unbearable.   My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife.

I am very sorry to learn this sad news, John.  Your hearts are grieving, I am sure.

Once, I had the shock of returning home from work to one of our cats struggling to breathe.  He was young (only eight years old) but he had to be put down the same evening.  It hurts.
