Of all those in the path of these storms, please be safe. There has been a tornado reported close to Joplin, Missouri.

We've been having 50mph winds today but there's no moisture in the air for rain. Humidity in single digits. We worry more about fires than tornadoes.

We are still under a tornado watch but the storm has gone southeast of us.

Kachina, my sister-in-law lived in California and one time her home was just a few miles from the fires.
