I've read in view of high cost of living, inflation, etc. we could get

10.4%, some say for sure 8.50% in Jan. 2023.

Every time there's a cost of living increase, Medicare goes up accordingly....!

@SharkE  We'll take it; but with heating oil through the roof, and our grocery prices increasing on a weekly basis, I can't get too excited. DH decided not retire, and I'm sorry I retired. I'm now looking for a flexible part time job that will still allow me to travel to sit for my grandchildren when I'm needed.

I figure anything is better then just sitting still and still paying weekly increase, gas, groceries, price of goods, etc.

Get it while you can. The whole program may be on the chopping block every 5 years.
I'm working until 70, so I'm not expecting much.

Raise the Maximum Taxable Income Limit faster each year ( currently $147,0000) or eliminate the cap completely.

Not popular, but a "fix".
