Please know:  THEY DO NOT SEND YOU NEW BLADES!

They will send you the info on how to package up the whole unit and return it to them for service.  You have to send the entire unit back.

My last email said they are WAY behind and I will be contacted when it is my turn.

I am not bothering.  Even w/ a prepaid label, I do not feel I should have to find a box, pack it, ship it etc.  Can't even guess how many times the unit will be bounced back to the factory!!!

I agree, QVC is NOT responsible.....nor are ANY OTHER vendors when there is a product recall.  It falls on the Mfg.

No, you only have to send the container back as it stated in the letter they sent to me.  The reason they sent me a letter is they had the wrong e-mail addy.  There was a post from someone a little while ago and they took the container to Fed-X and they packed it for her, sent it back at no cost to her.

@arrabella  If you bought your Vitamix in Costco bring it back. They are known for accepting returns long after purchase. In this case there is a legal issue involving a blade.Tell that to them & how badly the company treated you.You have a good chance of getting your money back.

I returned a cordless phone about a year after I bought it because the handset stopped charging.

I just received notice that Vitamix will send notifications in May of how to package up container and return it to them for the replacement blades.  Meanwhile unless you have another container you have no use of the blender.  Who knows how long this process will take.  I make smoothies in Vitamix just about everyday, so may just bite the bullet on this and purchase a new container.

I didn't send in the postcard but I submitted the claim online.  I finally after months received an email from vitamix with my rebate coupon in January.  I of course asked for the coupon instead of the replacement blade.
