smileymad: I was one of the first people to be notified by a postcard that Vitamix was in a lawsuit- I sent in my info- asked for a replacement blade- months later it was denied by email and said if I wanted to be re-considered to send pictures and I sent full pictures of all the serial numbers the receipt from QVC the pics of the mixer itself- and 6 months later still nothing- I tried emailing them and it says email address is invalid- but it's A LINK! so I typed it into an email- says site is closed- what kind of ****** is that??? QVC should replace this imo!! they sold it to me!

@sipp @I think you should post on twitter and Instagram and everywhere you can think of.Maybe then vita mix will send the new blade.I am surprised that Q wouldn’t help.

That is why I didn't even bother with it. Yes the Vitamix was very disappointing but I just bought an Oster blender that works even better.

With all their current issues I was some what surprised to see a Vitamix presented on ITKWD...even though it's a different model, a lot of QVC customers aren't happy with this brand right now.....K48229

Qvc is just the retailer, Qvc didn't manufacture it. Do Google search and you might get some information but honestly, I think you just have to accept that you aren't getting anything from that settlement.

Please know: THEY DO NOT SEND YOU NEW BLADES!
They will send you the info on how to package up the whole unit and return it to them for service. You have to send the entire unit back.
My last email said they are WAY behind and I will be contacted when it is my turn.
I am not bothering. Even w/ a prepaid label, I do not feel I should have to find a box, pack it, ship it etc. Can't even guess how many times the unit will be bounced back to the factory!!!
I agree, QVC is NOT responsible.....nor are ANY OTHER vendors when there is a product recall. It falls on the Mfg.

I never got any information about my Vitamix., no e-mail, no post card and no phone call. it's still working, so I guess I am okay with it.

I will say up front, I have no dog in this fight as I don't own a VitaMix. Also, to be transparent, the only thing I know about the VitaMix problem is the few posts I've read her.
To ask a legit question and play devil's advocate: is this one of those deals where this was done specifically for QVC? If so, why shouldn't the Q help make things right? When hosts say, as they often do, "XXX Manufacturer did this especially for us and our customers," shouldn't they stand behind the customer?
Just a thought. Look forward to your responses. TIA, LuLu
I don't know if this has been answered but no, I bought mine at Costco.
