Yes they are, absolutely beautiful. That's the way I prefer seeing snow, in pictures! Cold weather is fine with me because life can go on uninterrupted, but snow?

Those the live in places with snow understand there are times even the best of plans, can be interrupted, even canceled.

We haven't gotten one flake of snow on Long Island this winter.  It's very odd for us.  I'm not a huge fan of snow to begin with, but I do like to have at least one good snowstorm.  It's fun for my kids (and my husband!).  After that, I'm good.

@Grade1Teach , I am in Nova Scotia.  We have not had one measurable snowfall yet.  Most unusual for us.  Our weather has been very much like Vancouver instead of Halifax and Vancouver has been getting our weather.  It has been very grey and dull this past couple of weeks.  The lake level is very high.  

I just hope winter doesn't decide to visit and stay in March and April.  LM

Absolutely  beautiful pictures!❄ I love winter and snow! Here in Central NJ, we haven't gotten any yet. I hope we get some soon! So far just rain and some days still with a touch of humidity, which makes my body hurt! Surprisingly, the cold doesn't bother me as long as it's dry!😅 "Keep Snowing!"☃️🌨⛄😁

We haven't gotten a lot of snow here lately but enough to keep the roads messy. Last night, just about an inch fell here maybe.  Colorado Springs and the surrounding area is in a 'dry' status and most of the county is still in a drought status. Need more snow!

We had tons of snow and -30 to -50 windchills in December. We are expecting a big snowstorm tonight with possible 10-12". I've enjoyed the no-snow time we've had this month.

We are all having the same mild winter up here in the northeast.  I've been waiting for a  nice snowstorm!  Most disappointing is not having it for Christmas.  Oh well, I do believe we may be paying for this in February as most likely the jet stream will change it's position.

@dancingwoman  So pretty, but where is this?  I'm in NW Ohio and all we had was a blizzard at Christmas.   A couple of days later, it warmed up, snow went away and haven't had any since.  Warm and lots of rain.
