@Shanus  We just had six inches of snow on top of sleet and freezing rain here in southern Mo.  I remember snow in SC when we lived there some years ago.  Be safe out there.

@lucymo  Thanks. Not planning to go anywhere! Have some jewelry to make and am going to bake this afternoon. No one knows how to drive in snow here...and not enough clearing equipment. Could be days until neiborhood streets ready to get out.

@Shanus About 4 inches here near Winston Salem NC. You are right, it will be several days till we get out of the neighborhood. Waiting for spring!

I am jealous. All we have is unbelievably cold weather. Was 8 this morning, has been unusually cold for my neck of the woods.

@happycat  Can at least get out in the cold! Grocery store shelves here cleared out yesterday morning and side streets take days to get cleared enough to drive...ice under the snow when it melts & refreezes at night. Schools closed last week for snow & now again. Very unusual weather for NC & only mid-January.

Here on the Space Coast it will be in the 30's tonight..  Pretty chilly, however in two days it will be in the 70's.  I have my tender plants brought inside.

We also got snow in Georgia.  It's very cold here and the roads are frozen.  School was canceled.

I'm jealous, too! We NEED the snow here in Colorado for many reasons, not just for the ski bums. The snow melt from the mountains supplies water to many regions. Coors beer brewery ain't the only folks who need it.
