I have a huge problem with the way they subject their kids to social media and being judged by strangers.   I'm positive this will affect them as they grow up. 

Personally, I wouldn't let a 6 year old wear a fake nose ring or makeup.

@SahmIam  @Why did it remind you of cattle? I grew up on a farm and our cattle had the rings put in the cows ears.

• @occasionalrain  .... I agree with babies ears being pierced I don't like but circumcision is done a lot due to religious belief. I have no problem with that.

Though I don't care for the look of a nose ring...I really don't care if others choose to wear one,

I don't pay much attention to the Kardashians.  I do, however, like to see a family attend church together.

true, but getting all excited and distressed over total strangers is wasted energy

however I do agree with the constant barage of putting every single "cute" thing kids do on SM , it's only cute to the parents, to others not so much

You can correct a post easily.  (If I can do it, you can!)

See the 3 grey dots in a line on the top right of your post?  Hit the dots with your curser and a drop down box will appear.  Edit is the first option.  Hit *Edit* and you'll get your post back to make your changes.  Then hit *Post*.

You can also delete a post, if you want to delete your second post about the typing error. No biggie, if you leave it though.

Times have changed. I see quite a few children nowadays at Noth West's age in my conservative midwest city walking around with dyed, two-toned hair or bleached hair. That would have been outrageous in my day. Live and let live. Kim's children seem loved and well cared for.

Today's kids go to Starbucks or McDonald's for their caffeine drink. My Mother always told us we had to wait until we were 18.

Generations change. Parents become less strict. The earrings, dying their hair, etc. just a new generation. Acceptable? Maybe not to me but then some things my generation did wasn't acceptable to my Mother either. Of course that was a time when you disciplined and to avoid that you never crossed the line.

We must have had the same mother in regards to not being allowed to shave our legs.  I was teased relentlessly about that in jr high.
