I know what you mean. We must get at least a half dozen or so fake calls a day; if I don't recognize the phone number I don't answer. It's saved me a lot of aggravation.

On the other hand, now I have some nutcase following me around on Facebook. Just have to ignore it, too, I guess.

SIX TIMES TODAY phony robo calls supposedly from Apple about my ICloud account. All within a 2 hour period. Wanting me of course to call a number to speak to an "advisor". All from different numbers that looked local.......except above those numbers one of those very long numbers that start with a V above it on the caller ID.

I called the real Apple support number just to make them aware but apparently it's nothing new, it's been going on for a long time.

So if you get one, don't respond by pressing whatever number it is they tell you to so you can speak to an "adviser". It's a bunch of bull.

@shaggygirl

I received 4 publishers clearinghouse calls the last 2 days telling me I won 2 million dollars and it is very important that I call and give them my banking info so that it can be direct deposited in my account.Woman LOLWoman LOLWoman LOL

One scam after another.  My cell and my house phone.  I try never to pick up. Annoying.  Can not catch them and prosecute them.   Not on US soil  many of them.

Every day I get robogirl saying my car warranty is up! 😬

@Effie54

A news report said the "car warranty" scam was the number 1 robo call people were receiving.... I am stunned that anyone would fall for that and wonder why it just doesnt go away....as the scammers try something else....

@shaggygirl  I get very similar calls only 'spam' Amazon calls regarding my so called account.  There is no account because anything I order from Amazon has already been paid for. I get a few of these every week and I'm sick of them. I always block them but they call from different phone numbers each time.  For the other poster, it's not as simple as not answering the phone.  The message can show up on your TV or they leave a voicemail.  They are very persistent!  We have had legitimate out of state calls from numbers we did not recognize.We would have missed these calls had we not answered our phone.

I got a scam call from Amazon yesterday.  I was on a call and took it on call waiting because I was expecting another call.  That's how the scammer got through to my line.... anyway, blocked but I'm sure they will call again.
