SHIPPING LOGISTICS

I just don't understand some of the shipping.  I have received packages in less than a week yet others seem to take the long way.  I live in PA about 1 1/2 hrs from West Chester.  I have something that traveled from Lancaster, Pa to Ohio;  another package traveling from Va to Fl to NJ to Pa.  Still waiting on both.  I find it confusing.

I don't try to understand any of it.  As long as it gets to me, that's all I'm concerned with.

If it's USPS, the difference may be 1st class/priority or parcel/ground service.

 

I sold an item on ebay and used parcel service. It left Northern MI, went to PA only to travel back to Ohio where the buyer lived.

update:  one package arrived at the local post office on Saturday.  Hopefully it gets delivered tomorrow.  The other package is still traveling!

One arrived today!

 

The other one went from Lancaster, Pa to  NJ via Florida and Ohio.  It left NJ on Saturday;  no idea where it is now.  As long as it gets here before Christmas Eve as it is a gift.
