No company doesn't pay to ship items. Deliver costs are high. Free shipping is factored into the price of the item. If you are a prime member you pay for a membership.

""Free shipping"" does get paid for some way.

So the fact that most items I ordered are 30 to40% lower than almost any other retailer.
