Don't surprise me. Post office raises rates like I go to bathroom.  Everything is getting to be where you can pinch another penny. Insurance is thru the roof ! Mine went up 2,000.

The way I understand it is free shipping with $75 spent in one day.  If we spend less than $75 on one day, everything ships with one flat rate charge of $5.95.  This is a good thing for those of us who make multiple purchases in a week.  I typically buy 3 or 4 things a week at $3.50 (or more) for each item.  If I wait and batch my orders, I'll pay $0 or $5.95 shipping.  But, if you don't make many purchases, shipping will be $5.95 per item.  I will have to stop think before I order and get in the habit of ordering once a week.

I just went and cancelled all of my Korres auto-ships. One of them was $14.95. Now with the shipping charge, an additional 40% of the price, it's not so much of a deal for something I don't really need, only wanted.

Right!  I need to cancel my autoships.

I don't make several purchases at one time so for me buying 1 thing and paying a 5.95 shipping charge makes no sense.  If you batch your orders you will definitely benefit from 1 shipping charge of 5.95.

I checked my auto ships for the upcoming scheduled deliveries and they show as zero shipping fee. When the auto ship order was placed if it was free shipping then it should be free shipping. Time will tell.

I seldom buy from HSN, and never from QVC. If it ain't Free Shipping? I won't buy it.

I was not happy to hear about the increase, I usually buy one item at a time so I will not be paying almost double.

I buy one thing at a time and always try to wait to purchase something if there is free shipping AND if the item's on sale or if I have some kind of a special discount. Once in a great while, I will buy something with the $3.50 shipping cost IF it is still a good value with the item's discount or coupon code plus the tax.  I will still weigh the value with the $6 shipping but will likely order less.  Another thing is that if I need to return something, I'm not just out the return fee of--Is it usually $7 for clothes?  I am also now out $6 for original shipping, so $13 to try something on.

Also, does it say anywhere if you buy multiple items but return one, do you lose the $6 shipping cost?  Is it prorated?  For example, if you buy 6 items that don't equal $75 so a $6 shipping charge is incurred but you return one item, are you out $1 shipping or $6 shipping?

Perhaps I'm in the minority @Goodie2shoes  but I find the new HSN shipping rates very fair. With a $75 purchase it's free. I  load my cart for days, or weeks, whatever it takes to get to $75 then purchase. If I really want items, it's only $5.95 total. I think this is more than fair. I also wish QVC would offer the same.
