what does it mean when you have a message on your accout saying "money is waiting for you" ?  Do you have to apply for a debit card?  It does not seem to explain what this means.

You can either get a debit card from them to withdraw the money are if you have your bank account on your paypal account you can just transfer the money to your bank accounts.  If you transfer your  money and want it immediately theres a small charge of like a $1.20 or so.  If you can wait 1 to 3 days for the transfer theres no charge. Im assuming you have a PP account already set up, if you dont make sure this is not a scam. Go only to PP website, dont click on links in your email.

It means someone has sent you money. You need to decide if you want to keep it in PayPal or send it to your bank account. You just tap on the blue box where it states money and then go to the next screen. It tells you do you want your money immediately or 1-3 days. You are not charged a fee for transferring your money to your bank account if you choose 1-3 days.  I hope this helps.

Are you saying this is a message inside your Paypal account ... and not an email, which could be a scam?

If it's on your account, call the Paypal customer service # and ask them to explain it.  You don't need to apply for a card to get the money, if it's legit.  You can have it sent to your checking or savings account.

It's possible you will get an e-mail telling you that you have money, but you have to go into your PayPal account to see the transaction and get the money.

For your own safety, do not use an icon on the e-mail to enter the PayPal site.  Either type the PayPal address or use the app you previously installed.

There are too many scams out there.  Be careful with your sign in screen name and password.

This message was within my actual account which I went into to see my monthy purchases.  I will need to call.  Not sure why I would get any money...seems very odd to me.

Did you send money to someone or pay for something using PP? If the recipient didn't get the money or if your payment to someone was not accepted then your money will be sent back to your PP balance account.

I received an email from Paypal the other day saying Your Big Fat Check Cash Back Payment from Rakuten. Rakuten also sent me an email. I just leave it in my Paypal account & use it when I make a purchase. Got paid over $75.
