Sorry to hear about the problems people are having. So far, either I m ordering unpopular things, like mac and cheese, or we re just lucky here. I get home delivery and my driver is wonderful. He has never tried to get me to buy more.

BTW, the individual box of mac and cheese is HUGE! I get 2-3 meals easily as my main course. I have no idea how big the family size is. The portion size is 1 tray. The spaghetti says it has 2 portions, but I didn't like it as much. After a recommendation from someone on here, I am ordering the pre-cooked bacon and my mac and cheese and a few other things for my next delivery. I have it about once a month.

all of their chinese foods are good......we regularly get the lo mein, sesame chicken, orange chicken, potstickers, and fried rice. so easy for meals in uner 20 minutes.

also highly recommend their beef tips in gravy. easy to prepare and plenty of gravy so if you want to add some carrots, onions, potatoes you can easily do that. wonderful served over noodles or rice.

we also get most of their vegetables.....single and combinations.

pies are nice to keep in your freezer. you can then thaw them or bake them "from scratch" for unexpected company or if you have to take a dessert to a get together.

@Lisa now in AZ

my driver is great also.

i have his cell number so i can text if i need him to come at a different time.

he tells me all the specials for the week.....that is one of his jobs. i am never pressured to purchase any of the items. i just tell him "not this week." sometimes i do cave to try something. i can buy one item, i can buy twenty items. he is very reliable and friendly.

Quite a few years ago I used to get Schwan’s regularly but haven’t since we moved to a new location. I’m pretty sure a driver would come my way but I don’t understand how UPS delivers all that frozen food. I used to get a lot and we enjoyed everything we got.

Our Amish neighbors used to have Schwan's deliver quite often. I know, but really, it's true!

I have had some of their foods but never bought. Good quality, high prices.

I hadn't considered them as an option (actually forgot they existed) but it's a great idea for those that just can't get out or don't want to, as long as they can afford it.

Another alternative is Schwan's delivery for food. I have been using them off & on for 7 years & have never had a problem. Their food is good & I wouldn't hesitate to order from them. I am not sure if they all across the country but it is another way to get food.

I put this in Community Chat as it has the most traffic. Just trying to give ideas for people that can't get food. They are strictly food, no toilet paper, etc.

I wrote about this a while ago and got many complaints about the company and also about a meat delivery company which I didn't understand!!!

I called it "A Kind Suggestion"  but only a few "kind" answers. Cat Sad

I looked at their webpage, many items I want to get are out of stock. But they have really good ice creme products. Think I can live on ice creme alone?

As I type this, my husband and I are actually waiting for Schwan's to deliver our order--and we live 20 miles from their office. We order from them occasionally, and every now and then they send coupons in the mail. We just finished supper, which included Schwan's chicken cordon bleu, which my husband loves.

Thanks for telling the qvc community about another delivery food option. Instead of getting to go from a restaurant, this is another way people can prepare their own food and control that aspect of safe food handling.

@Posh Poodle I just ordered that today (my first order), happy to hear it's tasty.

@Eager2Learn @How do you like the food?

We like it a lot. It provides options from the normal meals that I like to cook. Besides the chicken cordon bleu, my husband and I also like their orange chicken skillet meal with rice, turkey pot pie, pork ribs, orange roughy and the seasonal pumpkin ice cream. This last order, we picked up the baked ziti which is a new offering by Schwan's, but I haven't fixed that yet.
