@Witchy Woman You should come out and visit at least once.
The scenery is so very different, from what you are used to. Just don't come in the summer. Put it on your bucket list.

@Pezzie wrote:@Kachina624 You should. It's lovely. Is that Diane Maderas ?
Looks like her work. How big a canvas?
@Pezzie. No artist name was given. A 30X36" canvas would work.

Trees found growing around saguaro cactus are called "nurse plants". They protect the the young cactus by providing shelter from the heat and freezing desert temperatures while the tree roots bring water up from the deep to the surface to give water to the young cactus. Thorny desert trees also protect the small cactus from getting trampled by cattle and other large animals.

So many of my friends have that issue as well. We walk around dabbing at our eyes, like we have been crying. lol DH has it much worse than I do.
@Pezzie. Same thing here in the Albuquerque area. Seems like it was unusually windy all winter, then the pollen started.

I always liked how a crop of saguaros looked like two armies getting ready for battle. The two desert prints I have are by Erin Hansen.
