Hi, @MrsSweetieBear!Heart

I'm just guessing, but I think this is part of their attempt to have enhanced security.  So, any time a poster is inactive for a period of time they have to sign in again.  I set my devices to remember the login info for this site, so it's only a couple of clicks and I'm back in...  doesn't bother me, but I really do understand the frustration.

Re: S T O P Making Me Sign in...

yeah, but it is overkill.  Let the user decide how long to stay logged in for - from 30 minutes to 24 hours.    This is just the boards here.  You only need that draconian measure of 30 minutes if we all were sharing a computer, which we aren't.

I stay logged on to so many other sites without being timed out.  The Q just needs to up it or offer it as an option like other places do.

This would be the key phrase.  And they need to adjust/up what they consider a period of time!

Re: S T O P Making Me Sign in...

i would say that this is the major problem i have right now with the new boards, followed by not having an easy convenient way to look at posting history (instead of having to do a bunch of clicking to get there.) other than that, i am getting used to the new boards!

It really is annoying. I have to keep signing in on both my laptop and my ipad, but I think it's worse on my ipad.

And this not being able to quote on the ipad thing is making me kind of crazy.

I just went out for about an hour, and when I came back I was signed in.  I just posted about this.  I thought they must have fixed it.  Was it just a fluke that I wasn't signed out while I was gone??

Me too!  I did a little list of stuff and came back to find myself still signed-in. Maybe my GRRRRRR RANT helped, LOL!
