Well, anyway...

A lot of people may not realize what a big deal the Cold War was for years. Especially the Cuban Missile Crisis. From what they say, JFK took it very seriously himself and was very worried.

As for the insults at any Olympic event the US has done it's share about eastern european athletes for years. Laughable that we should be offended now when it may or may not be done in return to the US and western States.

Absolutely spot on. Years ago, it was always hinted that nearly every Eastern European female athlete was a man according to US commentators. Did some of them use PEDs? A few, yes, but then again so did some in the West. And people think the West does not engage in propaganda. Why else would this article be republished now?

BTW, it annoys the you know what out of me that the NBC coverage never shows the medal ceremony unless an American is on the podium. I'm talking about popular events too. There are many Americans with roots in other countries who would like to see those ceremonies. You can stream them but not everyone has that ability. Just annoying.

Not sure if you get the Canadian cable channel where you live? It's CBUT or something like that. They cover the Olympics day/night. But...they ONLY show Canadians and ONLY their events. Only talk about their athletes. Only show medal ceremony for Canadian wins. I don't watch that channel much during Olympics because I'd like to hear more about other countries athletes and see their performances. You think NBC is biased on USA, watch that Canadian channel.
