I read that Meghan has signed a deal with Disney. Apparently, she had done voice overs for them in the past. So who knows how everything will shake out when this is allover. I would say they will always be followed around by the press.

I dont know wha rag, i saw it here on the forum.  But instantly recognised ithe photo.  If you look at photo on this thread of Queen in front and Megan and Harry holding Archie in back ground they are two different photos too, taken at different times.  But I have seen that pic before, and also same outfit and. Bandanna at a distance when she went to stables to talk to her top man about a new horse that was being born.

@January121   So you are hoping that Harry's marriage ends in divorce?  That he should divorce the mother of his child, the woman that he loves and makes him happy?  Very sad. Can't imagine harboring such dark and hurtful wishes in my heart against people that I have never met and have no personal knowledge of.

For the Queen to hear of their plans in the press must have been infuriating.

That's incorrect.  At first it was reported she didn't know anything about it, and the following day she knew all about it and wanted the timing of the announcement changed.  By next week, the story will be completely different.

There's speculation that the queen is mad .... maybe she has a bad case of gas!

I for one think the queen looks great. She always looks so beautiful and so put together.  She chooses the colors as well.  She is in her ninties, and still active.  She walks further than I can, and she works everyday.  If she isnt out greeting the people of her country  she is off with her horses and dogs.  She is a dedicated, serving woman.  I really admire her.  Wouldnt you just want go off on the public sometimes???   lol,

I have never heard that woman whine. She admits when she is wrong as well. Like when Diana died.  Beleive me, if she had whined...even once..we all would have known two seconds later.

Ugh, the tabloid press are the worst. Meghan and Harry having to deal with their intrusions, lies, and not so veiled racism all the time.

Meghan and Harry are grown adults in their 30s and don't owe the media, the public, or their family members explanations of what they want to do with their lives moving forward.

Prince Harry is now 6th in line to the throne, William has 3 children who precede Harry in the line of succession and Prince William won't likely also become king for a very long time. Prince Harry can basically do what he wants to.

Meghan's father and half siblings are just gross -- constantly selling their stories to the tabloid media. She's right to cut them off.

I think it would be fine if Harry and Meghan decide to move to Canada.

Very well stated.  This whole thing isn't anywhere close to a "crisis".  It's just a surprise announcement.  The royal have plenty of other ribbon cutters to show up and  wave at the crowds.

My feelings about this whole mess is that it is sad to see how his marriage has, apparently, caused such tension and separation between him and William, as they have always shared such a close relationship.

Now to see him being separated from the rest of his family also in such a way is definitely very troubling and cause for concern as to why he is allowing this to happen.

I've always felt that he is very vulnerable and sensitive as we all are aware of his depression and anxiety issues related to his long repressed grief and emotional feelings over the death of his mother and this raw vulnerability may be taken advantage of by the very person whom he put his trust in and fell in love with.

Meghan's actions and behavior appear to be indicative of a disrespectful, controlling and manipulative personality.

You've been reading too many gossip rags.   Harry's marriage isn't the problem.  In fact, the family was thrilled that Harry met  someone that made him so happy.

Harry's never going to be king, so he can plan another life path.  His doing so isn't a "crisis" and Meghan being "disrespectful" etc is just nonsense pulled out of thin air.

From all the documentaries and articles etc re the Queen apologizing about not making a statement about Diana's death, she pretty much had to.

She was surprised and didn't know a statement was needed.

Her nation and the world were so upset and publicly demanding the palace respond and lower the flag.

To me that shows how out of touch she is with her citizens and the rest of the world.

She may be totally devoted to her "duties" and the crown and everything the Royals are supposed to do, but like every family there seems to have been a lot of unhappiness in the members that are her family, and not a lot of warmth and understanding.

Of course, I don't know any of them but this is how I've seen it over the years. I guess I don't admire someone who puts ceremony and duty above anyone's happiness.

(read about her sister). Then Diana, Fergie. I am sure there are more. Not that it is soley her fault. People are people.

I applaud William and Kate for seemingly able to make a happy and productive life of it. I don't blame those that can't even though they may have tried.

I just don't feel the same adulation that others do of her.
