 Yes! i retired as a Services officer..about 20 years ago. Seemed we inherited the less wanted jobs. I spent too much time in the search and recovery part of the job, but enjoyed the SAC staff and the IG!

When we lived in ABQ we would drive to White Sands to go tubing. It was lots of fun. I read that it is no longer called a missile range but something else...a national park or something. Have been to Roswell several times with friends who are really into the whole UFO thing...I think the souvenirs and stuff keeps the whole place going....one visit is all you need to know lots of people are still fascinated by the whole idea, especially a "conspiracy".

as you drive into Roswell you see shops like these and the Museum is where you see the different depictions of alien likeness.
