Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

I wish I could watch, but I'll be out of town.

Years ago on these boards, I said that the Irish vendors had been given a warning that their time on QVC is running out.  Within a few years, I think they'll be history.

@Blahblahvampemer  I rarely came to these boards years ago so I never saw your post.   How do you know they were warned?

The reduced hours were the warning along with the smaller quantities that were ordered. To look at where your brand is headed, look at what has happened with the others.  According to a former vendor of many years, QVC is dropping even popular items because they want to get rid of entire categories.

Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

There is a little difference in the time I will be starting the thread for Rose of Tralee......  Since Quacker Factory is the TSV, they will be on a whole hour before the Irish folks......so,  I will be starting the thread an hour later than I said at the beginning of this thread.  Will start it a little before 1:00 am (eastern time)......  But, I will try to stay on for at least the first hour, but then I will have to go to bed.  I know many of you know that I have been under going chemo treatments, and I usually don't stay up past 10:00 pm (central).......  As my rest is very important right now.

But, hope that we will be able to have some fun.

I have no idea what the Q is thinking when they schedule things like this, but it does take away some of the fun.  Can't imagine the Irish folks are happy about this whole thing.

I see where some of you have already either purchased something or know what you would like to purchase.  I have my eyes on the over the shoulder pullover merino wool sweater, but not sure which color I am liking.  Will have to wait to see it.

Ok, need to get a bit of dinner now.  And may take a nap......see you all later on the new thread I will be starting.

Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

OK, THE LATER IT IS GETTING, the better I am liking Pearlee's suggestion of keeping this thread instead of starting a new one just for the show....

So, this one it is.  And, the later it is getting, the more I am thinking I won't be on here very late at all.  I am very tired tonight.  It was only yesterday that I had a chemo treatment, and boy it sure hits me for a few days afterwards.  Get very tired very easily.......I know this, and do try to take it easy the first 2 days after a treatment.......

I promise I will be on here in the morning sometime.....not when QF shows are on.......

Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

ShowMe, I will be in my bed watching since Quacker Factory is on first. I  just don't think I can sit out here tonight this leg is really telling me it is in charge of my life. By the way we do enjoy talking about you here and how good you are doing going through all that you are. It is always a question " well did the ShowMe lady check in today?''  I agree that you need your rest and the Q really messed up on this program. Wonder how many people they think are going to hang in here on the east coast till 1am? As i said i will watch from my bedroom.  Hope that you get a good nights rest and I will check in here in the morning to see if you are here. Good night to you and God bless and watch over you always.

@cater  Cater, this thread will keep getting bumped up by people posting, so I'm sure those interested in R of T will see it. Smiley Happy

@ShowMe  Go get some rest, and please do take good care of yourself.  That's much more important than Rose of Tralee!
