When all this came out a few years ago, I read Ronan Farrow did learn who really is his father. He had no intentions of making it public.
@lulu1 I agree with him. No matter what he says there will always be the gossiping Gerties who will never let the matter rest.

Mia started this whole mess anyway and since she's about a pure as city snow with her own messes (Previn comes to mind) I don't think she's a reliable source.

Frank was no angel either, and neither was Woody.

The dynamics of all those people are intertwined with negative actions and words.

@Tinkrbl44 Andre Previn was married and left his wife for Mia. In fact Dory Previn, the wife, had a very difficult time with the affair and subsequent divorce. A musician in her own right, you might remember the song she wrote about it-"Beware of Young Girls".

Did something new happen about this in the past week .... or why is this suddenly such an issue? For all we know, FS set up a trust fund for Ronan (IF he is the father) many years ago. I'm sure Mia & Frank discussed it.

@Tinkrbl44, Nothing new happened that I know of other than Ronan receiving this award the LGBTQ Foundation which has made him a topic of conversation. It's a shame because it seems no matter how accomplished he is in his own right his mother made this something people will always question. It doesn't even matter how important it is, or isn't, it's just something a mother shouldn't do to a child.

A couple of years ago, however, a biography was written that gives some very compelling evidence that Frank couldn't be Ronan's father. Here are a couple paragraphs from the book.

"In an interview Monday on NPR’s “Diane Rehm Show,” James Kaplan, author of the second volume of “Sinatra: The Chairman,” said there is no way the “My Way” singer could have gotten together with ex-wife Mia Farrow and conceived Ronan, 27, around March 1987.

That’s because, at the time, Sinatra was incapacitated and impotent following a major abdominal surgery three months earlier that involved removal of 12 feet of intestine. He was recovering in Hawaii with his fourth wife, Barbara, and wearing what was essentially a colostomy bag, Kaplan said.

“He was not the father of Ronan Farrow,” Kaplan said with great emphasis."

Not to nitpicky with you but I'm sure since you highlighted in big red letters how I feel about the irresponsibility of involving Sinatra in something he is unable to defend you must know what I'm thinking about the statement "I'm sure Mia and Frank discussed it." And a trust fund? C'mon now, that's obviously just fantasy.

He looks just like his mother. Sorry, but she's no prize herself and I'm not sure I believe any of her claims, but she certainly has poisoned her kids' minds along the way.

??? Why would that be a fantasy? If FS wanted to care for Ronan, IF he was his father, a trust fund, rather than putting him in his will, might have been a good choice.

I knew a woman who worked for FS for several years and, apparently, he was a rather generous man. We've speculated here about the circumstances, but none of us really know what happened behind the scenes. I think it was too early for accurate DNA testing.

In many situations, a woman could have been with more than one man and just not be sure who the father was. Wouldn't be the first time, that's for sure!

I don't know how true this is, but I found news items on the internet stating that Ronan Farrow wears tinted contacts that make his eyes more blue than they are, so that could be confusing. But like I say, I do not know if that is true. Not saying he wears them to be deceptive as to the color of his eyes, maybe he just likes wearing tinted lenses. I wear them all the time.
