Robot vacuums... any thought?

I have not owned one or known anyone who has.  Are they really worth it? I hate vacuuming and don’t do it as much as I should.   The TSV looks good.

I like mine.  Mine is much older and I still use it.  It does not find home as easily as it once did but it is easily directed.  I love that it goes under my beds and cleans, and under the DR table, etc -- it is great.  Whoever invented this thing must have been a woman past midlife or a man whose wife was and who knew this would be the greatest thing since sliced bread or a full-time housekeeper.

Love mine. I have the iRobot brand and got it from QVC. Works very, very well. I just push a button, it does its thing and I do mine. Hasn't failed me yet.

I also have the iRobot version for mopping the floors. It has been exactly one year since I last vacuumed or mopped a floor.

I had last years model, I didn’t like how it would get stuck under furniture and it seemed to go over certain areas but avoid others. Also it would leave clumps of fuzz from my Persian rugs. I returned it.

I bought a Shark at Target about a year ago. About five weeks later I fell and severely injured my knee. Out of commission for eight weeks. Do I love my robot, you betcha. It isn't the top of the line, can't turn it on from my phone, but I don't want to.

I have the hard floor version from iRobot.  I have hardwood floors in much of my upstairs, including my master bedroom.  I couldn't live without "Minnie" (as I call "her").  No struggles for me to clean under my bed!!!!  I feel like I breathe much better since using "Minnie".  I've had this type of robot since it was first calls the Mint.  Love it!

We have a Roomba and are very satisfied with it.  I mainly use it on our carpeted areas and it picks up A LOT , even after I have vacuumed with a "regular" vacuum.  I like that I can put it in a room, close the door and return in 10 minutes and find it clean!

I experienced some of the same with mine when I first got it with long-haired, pure-bred Persians.  I learned to vacuum the room where the cat sort of lived most of the time and clean it and then vacuum the remainder of the house.  It cannot hold a lot of fur and fuzz.  It is a very small vacuum.  It is really misunderstanding it to think it could.  You probably need something like a Rainbow (which I have) for the rest of the house and the thorough cleaning 2-3 times a month and let the iRobot do the interim work.

I bought a roomba from Qvc a few years ago. It gets hung up on floor vents, stuck under cabinets and seems to follow its own pattern leaving areas still dusty. Instructions were minimal. I regard the purchase a regret.

@Nonametoday I think you have me mixed up with someone else. I did not refer to any problems with the iRobot.
