Robin Williams was a local boy, local family.

He was a man about town, we'd see him everywhere, and he always had a smile and a joke for anyone who said hello.

He was out riding his bike several times when I was doing the same. We'd smile and nod. We lived not far from each other.

He used to have a wonderful house in the Sea Cliff area of town, adjacent to the SF Richmond district. Yes. They tape early because it's a syndicated show and runs at all different times throughout the country.
