A imdb page says he has been a permanent host on QVC since 1996.  He has been a host for nearly 24 years.  If he mentioned 59 as his new age, makes sense. That would put him about 35 when he started. 59 is not so old. He looks about that age

@HLP   I'm confused by your math.  If Rick was born 1/12/1961, yes he will be 59 years old.  If he was born in 1941, Rick would be 79 years old.

I was wondering the same thing @Caaareful Shopper  about this poster's math.  

@HLP  - Rick is going on 59 years old this January 12th.

IMO - he looks to be 50-something.  He looks good.
