I was at the store to get some fresh veg and bananas. I did a quick look around , still no chicken, but there was a box of brown rice, and I jumped on it . Youd'd have thought I'd won something. If and when things get back to normal, I swear I won't take these things for granted.

That is how I felt when I finally found the Smart Balance spread! We were out of it and I could not order it online.

@QVCkitty1 If there are Asian grocery stores in your area, plenty of rice.

I felt like I'd won the lottery when a pharmacy clerk at Walgreen's asked if I'd like to add a bottle of Purell to my purchase.

@QVCkitty1 Funny...I just made a mad dash into the grocery store too for bananas. I also managed to get a package of VIVA paper towels. It was the last one and I practically hugged it all the way to the register. I agree...I will never take these things for granted ever again....

@Mombo1 That's so funny!! I found a big pkg of Bounty paper towels at Walmart and I almost cried!! 🤣 I was afraid to turn them loose and put them in the buggy for fear someone would snatch them out and take them from me!! I cant imagine how I'll feel when I finally see my Charmin again.

i was just going to suggest that......asian, middle eastern, indian......many ethnic grocery stores are open and need the business. if you canno find it in these stores, sadaf.com has some rices available for shipping.

i purchase my rice in ten pound bags.
