I think I have mentioned this before, but now that we are house bound, I'll write it again. 

I'm not sure that this is available to everyone, but where I am, NV, I can schedule my postal person to pick up any packages I need to send out. They have to be postage paid already. 

Go to the usps website and look for 'schedule a pickup'. You then fill out the form. It's very easy. You don't have to answer your door, or talk to anyone. They'll just take it off your porch or where ever you indicated on the form.
