@kjae wrote:Tips-with those exceptions already discussed-using the channel's return label-it takes about 3 weeks for it to get back from Los Angeles to City of Commerce(3rd party who picks up from post office ony about 2 times a week) to Sparks, NV and finally on way to the Q. If you want your refund faster then this is not the way. It is usually cheaper for most items to send with labe. Plus, you are covered if it gets lost. PLEASE--
Always take the time to get it scanned at the counter and a receipt with that tracking number from them. It is worth the time. My daughter handed a computer to the person at the counter and did not get a receipt, thinking that since she handed it to a person she was safe. This was a very nice PO in Laguna Hills CA. It never showed up in tracking or at QVC. Stolen, most likely. QVC was extremely nice and credited it-but there was no record of it ever being taken by PO. All employees are not honest, guys.
QVC's label includes insurance so they got their money back. Glad it worked out for your daughter.

When I do use the return label, I usually get a receipt from the post office when I drop it off. And often the same day or the next day, I will get an email that tells me my return is on its way. The refunds are generally not long in coming, at least not that I’ve noticed. Timing hasn’t been an issue for me.

I use the return label that QVC supplies 😊

Right now I seem to be having trouble either way.
Things are either arriving slowly, or it is taking longer for the notice of receipt to be sent.
There are some post offices in our area that are still damaged.

Well, due to the difficulties I've had with returns being too large or too heavy, I rarely buy anything large anymore ... just jewelry and makeup.
I never use the prepaid label, because it just costs too much and takes too long. I feel ripped off.
I learned how to print my own Paypal labels and now do that. I returned a pair of earrings recently. I could have sent them prepaid snail mail for $6.95, but opted for a Paypal label, First Class w/tracking, and it cost me $1.83 ... and was there in 3 days. What's not to like about First Class mail?

I always use QVC's return label. It's just too easy. I usually get a receipt from the PO. But on items that will fit in a mailbox I've done that and never had a problem.

I always use the QVC label. This way I don't have to stand in line at the post office. I've tried using posting online (like you use if you sell something on eBay), but it is not much cheaper.
I find it gets back much faster using the QVC label. I haven't looked at the labels closely in a while, but I think you still have a choice of USPS or UPS to return.
I drop the smaller (jewelry) envelopes in the USPS box outside the post office and take the UPS ones to the UPS store and get a receipt.
I don't buy much that I return, but I do find I am returning more in the last 3 years than I returned in the 20+ before that.
