I was NOT expecting it to cost MORE to return than it was to SHIP to me either.

So for those long time forum posters it's very unfair to be sarcastic and frankly mean in some of your replies. We are all here to help are we not?

I don't understand this.  I bought a clothing item from QVC and it cost $3.00 s/h to send to me.

I had to return it and I did just use the QVC prepaid return label.  They deducted $9.95 from my refund for that return.  They deducted the original s/h of $3.00 plus the return label fee of $6.95.

I don't understand what the pro-rated shipping means.  I've never seen that before.

exactly my point!! I was told in a follow up email that they deducted an additional 1/6th of the original shipping and handling on top of the $6.95 pre paid label fee since this item was on a 6 easy payment plan! I had no idea! I could not find anywhere on the website under Returns where this is stated as policy.  I've never ever encountered this problem when returning an item to QVC. I'm not happy at all and like many others I will be curtailing my purchasing from QVC. First you can't use your Q card to buy QVC gift cards because they now use an outside merchant to handle it and now this - DONE!

The pro-rated shipping refund applies when an item is purchased on easy pay.  For example, item is on 3 eay pays and the shipping cost is $3.  That means easy easy pay will include $1 shipping because they split the shipping charge into 3 parts.  If you return the item using the Q label, you will be charged the $6.95 label fee and $1 of the shipping fee (because $3 divided into 3 easy pays = $1 and they no longer refund the original shipping cost).
